Breed-specific legislation does NOT prevent dog bites!

Imagine someone who’s never met you decides that you’re a bad person and a danger to society. They won’t let you live in their neighborhoods or walk in their parks or streets because had a specific “look” about you that some people didn’t like. Is that acceptable?

Be Kind to Animals Week

The first week of May is also The Humane Society’s “Be Kind to Animals Week” We suggest you not only be celebrate with your pets, but others as well. Volunteer to walk a shelter dog, donate to local shelters or rescues, or even just talk to friends and neighbors about the importance of spaying and neutering, putting an end to animal cruelty. or whichever animal related cause you are most passionate about.
